Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

The PTA provides direct physical therapy care under the supervision of a licensed PT, following all legal and organizational standards.

•  Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and valid licensure, with preferred 1-year post-acute care experience.

•  Must maintain CPR certification and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

•  Responsibilities include patient care planning, documentation, teamwork, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to policies.

•  Essential functions involve executing therapy plans, timely charting, excellent customer service, helping with patient evacuation, and maintaining professional conduct.

•  Must be dependable, utilize good judgment, participate in community health activities, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
