Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following all laws and standards.

•   Required to be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and hold current licensure in the state.

•   Preferred one year of post-acute care experience; CPR certification needed upon hire.

•   Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, coordinating with team members, and ensuring patient safety.

•   Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, good communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

•   Essential physical activities include lifting, reaching, and assisting with patient evacuation, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
