Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care abilities, and other areas related to occupational performance.
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, IEP objectives, and input from parents, teachers, and other team members.
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans and activities.
Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate findings and recommendations to the IEP team and parents.
OT Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Active or pending State Occupational Therapy License
Experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based or clinicsetting is preferred.
Ability to pass a background Check
