Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker
Location: New York, NY 10038
Pay Rate: $52.00/hr to $57.00/hr
Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
2+ Months (Contract) with possible extension
Duties:
- Assisting clients in receiving services by telephone and in person.
- Getting clients involved in beneficial activities.
- Assessing clients and gathering relevant information.
- Offering information and supporting clients and their families.
- Contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
- Participating in training, supervision, and meetings.
- Watch for signs of child abuse.
- Provide crisis intervention.
Skills Required:
- Master's in social work (required).
- NYS LMSW license (required).
- Previous hospital Social Work exp (preferred).
- Bilingual Chinese or Spanish (preferred).
- Good interviewing skills & ability to use good judgment & make decisions quickly (required).
- Cast management exp (preferred).
- Allscripts referral management & transportation setup. Familiar with psychiatric/pediatric population.
- Familiar w/EPIC EMR.
