Pride Health is hiring a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to support our client's medical facility in New York, NY 10038. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Job Summary:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) 40 hours per week (5x8 Days; 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
- NYS LMSW
- Bilingual Chinese or Spanish (preferred)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW):
- Conduct assessments to understand clients' mental health, emotional, or social needs.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy.
- Coordinate and facilitate access to community resources, services, and support systems for clients.
- Help clients navigate social services, healthcare, housing, and other resources.
- Advocate for clients' needs, including in legal or healthcare settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client sessions, progress notes, and case updates.
- Prepare reports for supervisors, other healthcare professionals, or legal entities as needed.
- Under the guidance of a supervisor, LMSWs may provide supervision to social work interns or new social workers as they work toward obtaining higher licensure levels.
Experience required:
- 2 years as Licensed Master Social Worker experience is required.
- Familiar with psychiatric/pediatric population
- Cast management
- Previous Hospital Social Work
- EMR: EPIC
