Healthcare Administrator Responsibilities: - Build strong, compassionate relationships with residents and their families
- Ensure residents' rights, including privacy, confidentiality, and fairness, are upheld
- Manage community funds responsibly, protecting residents' and families' financial interests
- Address resident complaints and grievances, documenting findings and actions taken
- Execute marketing strategies to maintain optimal occupancy levels
- Support the recruitment and selection of directors, supervisors, consultants, and staff
- Oversee employee training on organizational policies, procedures, and long-term care regulations
- Interpret and enforce laws, standards, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in the long-term care field
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree
- Five years of experience in a management/supervisory capacity in a healthcare or long-term care community
- Current valid South Carolina Nursing Home Administrator's license
- Intermediate computer skills
