Behavioral Health Clinician (ASW/LCSW)
Location: Modesto Clinics (Several vacancies available.
We are duplicating our Behavioral Health Team.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation:
- ASW: $73,000 annually
- LCSW: $94,000-$112,500 annually

What You'll Do:
- Provide mental health therapy, complete biopsychosocial assessments, and develop collaborative treatment plans with patients
- Work closely with primary care providers to support patients through brief interventions, warm hand-offs, and exam room consultations
- Offer services both in-person and via Telehealth for prompt access and continuity of care
- Deliver care within various programs, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all services, billing, and compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, NASW, and BBS standards
- Educate patients and staff on behavioral health topics and available services
- Support new program development, quality improvement, and grant deliverables as needed
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture, supporting peers and patients alike
Education Requirements:
- A passion for making mental health services accessible to underserved communities
- Registration or licensure with the California BBS as an ASW or LCSW (or PhD/PsyD in Psychology)
- Two years of experience in mental health services preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with integrated care models, brief therapy techniques, and the DSM-5-TR
- Knowledge of local community resources and experience working with diverse populations (e.g., children, farmworkers, unhoused individuals)
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs or push up to 100 lbs (on wheels)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members
- Able to perform duties requiring sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
