Value Education are looking for enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across EYFS-KS2, at the Primary schools we support in the Rochdale area.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.
Teaching Assistant duties:
- Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
- Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children
- Assisting with group activities
- Leading interventions
- Occasionally covering lessons in the absense of the teacher
- Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis
- Support across a range of year groups
Teaching Assistant requirements:
- 1 year or more previous experience working with children
- Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
- Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently
- Have effective behaviour management
- Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
