General Summary:

The Lending Systems Administrator will manage and optimize our mortgage and consumer loan origination systems (LOS). This individual will own the integrity, performance, and integration of key systems like MortgageBOT, Origence ArcOS, Doc Magic, and Temenos, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and system quality. The Lending Systems Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert in these systems, taking full responsibility for troubleshooting, system configuration, training, and new product quality assurance.

Key Essential Responsibilities:

  1. System Administration:
  1. Manage and maintain the primary mortgage and consumer loan origination system (LOS), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  2. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates and patches.
  3. Configure and customize the LOS to meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
  4. Oversee system data integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing quality controls.
  1. User Support and Training:
  1. Provide technical support to internal users (loan officers, processors, closers) regarding system functionalities, navigation, and troubleshooting.
  2. Conduct training sessions on new features, system updates, and best practices for using the mortgage system.
  1. System Integration:
  1. Manage the integration of the LOS with other platforms like CRM, document management, and underwriting systems.
  2. Ensure seamless data flow between systems and address integration issues to ensure continuous operations.
  1. Compliance and Security:
  1. Monitor system activities to ensure compliance with relevant mortgage lending regulations and data privacy standards.
  2. Implement security measures to protect sensitive loan data and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  1. Generate and analyze reports on system usage, performance metrics, and system improvements.
  2. Identify trends and make recommendations for system optimization and operational efficiency.
  1. Quality Assurance and Testing:
  1. Fully understand each lending system and own the quality assurance and testing for new products and changes to existing products.
  2. Work with development teams to create and validate test scenarios to ensure seamless updates and enhancements.
  3. Ensure all systems are updated and tested in collaboration with internal stakeholders, reducing the need for production staff to interrupt their work.
  1. Proactively identify areas for improvement and ensure all systems (and their interactions) function seamlessly to support the work of the production teams.
  2. Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to work effectively with members, co-workers, management, and vendors. Demonstrates the Credit Union's core values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, and Responsibility.
  3. Keeps abreast of industry developments including but not limited to changes in regulations and technology.
  4. Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.
  5. Performs additional duties as required.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements:
  1. Degree preferred in Finance, Business Management, or Information Technology.
  2. Minimum of 5 years work experience in mortgage banking.
  3. Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination processes, consumer lending systems, and industry regulations.
  4. Proficiency using loan origination systems such as Encompass, MortgageBOT, Origence ArcOS, and MeridianLink. Experience with other vendors such as Doc Magic, Docusign, Temenos (Collections), and other lending technologies.
  5. Advanced technical skills in system administration, data management, troubleshooting, and integration management.
  6. In-depth understanding of how loan data flows through systems, emphasizing disclosures and the interconnectedness of various lending systems.
  7. Ability to conduct training and provide user support to a diverse group of users promptly and clearly.
  8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from system data and performance reports.
  9. Experience with database management and reporting tools.
  10. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  11. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security standards in the mortgage and lending industry; and previous experience working on quality assurance and testing processes within loan origination systems.
