SUMMARY: The Goulston & Storrs Legal Talent Team is growth and team-oriented, fast-paced and dynamic and consists of recruiting, talent development and diversity, equity and inclusion professionals. As a member of the innovative and integrated Legal Talent Team, the Legal Talent Administrator will primarily support the Chief Legal Talent Officer as well as collaborate with and support Legal Talent team members in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, legal recruiting, training and development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the administration of our wellbeing coaching program and initiatives, collaborating with the Chief Legal Talent Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer and Director of Associate Recruitment & Integration
- Schedule meetings and help to coordinate conference rooms and logistics for hybrid meetings and events
- Assist with logistics and planning for Director Upward Feedback and Project Connect - a leadership program for newer directors
- Provide administrative support for the annual New Director Orientation and to the Newer Director Committee including calendar appointments, meeting logistics, compiling materials, and assisting with planning social gatherings
- Administer the monthly Director Roundtable and Associate Small Group Lunch Meetings
- Coordinate agendas for the monthly Legal Talent meetings with the Practice Group Co-Chairs
- Assist with running reports and assembling materials for the Associate & Counsel Review Processes and help coordinate review scheduling with Legal Administrative Assistants
- Update Legal Talent tracking documents when associates join or transition to different roles
- Utilize Survey Monkey to help administer surveys and report survey results
- Assist with interviewing logistics for legal recruiting
- Run reports on various metrics in the firm's SSRS database
- Assist with preparing materials for the annual associate review and pre-partnership review processes
- Assist with travel arrangements
- Process reimbursement requests and assist with budget administration
- Monitor the Legal Talent Outlook inbox, forwarding emails to appropriate team member(s) as needed
- Other administrative project and event planning support, as needed
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of experience as an administrative assistant
- Understanding of law firm or professional services firm business operations
- Excellent attention to detail and action-oriented with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive, ownership-oriented and deadline driven
- Positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management systems
