Position Overview:
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a client to find an experienced Corporate Legal Secretary in Colorado. This role involves providing comprehensive support to the Real Estate, Corporate, and Public Finance legal team, ensuring all corporate legal processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and management of corporate legal documents and contracts, including but not limited to Articles of Incorporation, Operating Agreements, Placement Memoranda, and contracts
- Service Secretary of State filings
- Organize closing binders
- Submit conflicts checks
- Coordinate expense reimbursements, invoices, and billing
- Coordinating with internal and external parties to ensure timely execution of legal documents
- Maintaining and organizing legal files and databases, ensuring all records are current and easily accessible
- Conducting legal research and compiling data to support legal proceedings
- Facilitating communication between legal teams and other departments within the organization
- Managing calendars and scheduling for the legal team, including meetings and deadlines
- Handling inquiries related to legal matters and routing them to appropriate resources
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on detail-oriented work
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment support attorneys in corporate, real estate, and public finance practice areas
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
