The Role:

We are seeking an experienced legal secretary to join our Salt Lake City office. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of legal secretarial experience supporting busy litigation teams - preferably in insurance defense - and be confident managing filings, deadlines, and attorney calendars in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, format, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates
  • Coordinate hearings, depositions, and meetings
  • Maintain organized digital case files and correspondence
  • Provide general litigation support to attorneys and paralegals

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a legal secretary (civil litigation or insurance defense preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and formatting legal documents
  • Strong knowledge of Utah court systems and e-filing procedures
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks

Work Structure:

  • On-site role in Salt Lake City office (this is not a remote or hybrid position)
