Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for an exciting hybrid opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area? We are searching for a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary with at least 3 years of litigation experience to join a dynamic legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys specializing in litigation.
- Prepare, edit, and file legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery materials according to court rules and deadlines.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Handle e-filing in compliance with local and federal court requirements.
- Maintain case files and manage client correspondence.
- Conduct basic legal research and assist with trial preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficiency in workflows.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in litigation.
- Proficiency in legal software and tools, including eDiscovery platforms and e-filing systems.
- Strong typing, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and applicable laws.
