One of my clients is looking for an expeirnced legal secretary with Trust and estates. Experience in this area is a must. The positions is on site downtown SF only.

Applicants with Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining case files.

  • Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents related to estate planning, trust administration, probate, and other legal matters.

  • Prepare and file legal pleadings, correspondence, and other required documentation with courts and agencies.

  • Maintain and organize client records, legal documents, and case files both digitally and in physical files.

  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals regarding case updates and inquiries.

  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings and documentation.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and compliance with legal ethics.

  • Assist in preparing billing statements, tracking billable hours, and managing expense reports.

  • Conduct basic legal research and compile necessary information to assist attorneys.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

  • Proficiency in legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management software.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and legal billing software is a plus
