A packaging company in the Azusa, California area is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support its legal team with contract coordination, compliance tasks, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with legal documentation and maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced corporate setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and edit contracts, legal documents, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain legal files with a focus on accessibility and confidentiality
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and key dates for the legal team
- Support contract management processes and monitor compliance deadlines
- Coordinate communications with internal teams, external legal counsel, and clients
- Perform legal research and compile relevant information when needed
- Manage administrative tasks including document filing, billing, and invoicing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or in a related legal support role
- Familiarity with legal terminology, documentation, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive legal information
