Overview: Our client is seeking a Legal Receptionist to start immediately. This role is vital in upholding our firm's professional image and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing, and be comfortable utilizing various software and technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities: - First Point of Contact: Greet clients, visitors, and vendors warmly, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Communication Management: Handle incoming calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff and taking accurate messages as needed.
- Call Screening: Filter calls for attorneys, identifying caller needs and ensuring only relevant calls reach busy professionals.
- Appointment Scheduling: Assist with managing calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room usage, keeping all parties informed.
- Mail and Delivery Management: Oversee the handling of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and legal documents efficiently.
- Confidentiality Maintenance: Handle sensitive client information with care, ensuring privacy and compliance with security protocols.
- Technology Utilization: Operate the firm's phone system and become familiar with our scheduling applications.
- Professional Demeanor: Maintain a polished appearance and calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Client Service: Offer hospitality to clients, addressing concerns or inquiries with effective problem-solving skills.
- Additional Tasks: Assist with various tasks as needed, including event coordination and administrative support.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in a professional environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with or willingness to learn the firm's phone system.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Associate degree or equivalent related work experience.

- Compensation: up to $23/hr
