Position: Legal Coordinator/Admin - Logistics Department
Location: Plano, TX 75075 Onsite
Level: Staff (Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience)
Contract: 6 months (Initial)

Job Function/Description:
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for internal and external legal inquiries, ensuring efficient and accurate direction of communications to appropriate legal team members.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding contract-related matters and their current status.
  • Legal Intake Coordination: Coordinate and manage legal intake processes, including logging requests, tracking progress, and ensuring timely responses through multiple channels of communication, including Cello.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for day-to-day activities, including requests for budget approval and processing invoices.
  • Document Preparation and Review: Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal standards and corporate policies.
  • Contract Management: Route contracts for signature, collect, and save executed contracts in designated shared folders.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and update legal and compliance databases and files, ensuring they are current and accessible.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Communication Facilitation: Facilitate effective communication between the Legal & Compliance team and other departments within the organization.
  • Legal Research and Reporting: Assist with legal research and compile reports.
  • Legal Support: Assist in other legal matters such as litigation, claims, and other disputes.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal department of a logistics company or related industry experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Work Ethic: Outstanding work ethics and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Team Player: A team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Task Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Agreement Familiarity: Familiarity with a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet search, and contract management platforms.
    • Provide virtual support to the Groveland, FL facility.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk warehouse floors and assembly operations to establish a Health and Safety presence.
  • Personal Attributes: Passionate about creating an inclusive and safe work environment. Able to maintain positive and proactive relationships with managers and employees.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus.
