Job Description: National Firm seeks an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal to join their team. The ideal Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal possesses 5-10+ years of litigation experience within Plaintiff Labor and Employment, has demonstrated experience with e-filing on state and federal level, has calendared deadlines via CompuLaw, and has strong familiarity with creating shells and pleadings.
Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal Job Duties:
- Prepare and e-file documents on state and federal level
- Calendar internal and court deadlines via Compulaw
- Draft and create discovery shells, pleadings, motions, notices, and other legal documents
- Assist with trial preparation including exhibit binders, witness lists, jury instructions, and bates stamping
Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal Candidate Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of Labor and Employment litigation experience required
- Prior experience with iManage, CompuLaw, and Microsoft Outlook strongly preferred
- Familiarity with cases such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, PAGA, wage and hour preferred
- Ability to multitask especially in last-minute situations
- Handling multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail
