- At least five (5) years of experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery;
- Knowledge of e-filing both in state and federal court;
- Knowledge of court rules and procedures;
- Outstanding time management, typing skills (60+ wpm), and ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment;
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, etc., and ability to work with legal technology and court filing systems;
- Ability to answer phones and communicate with incoming callers;
- Perform administrative duties including calendar hearings and deadlines, maintain and organize files;
- Transcribe letters, emails and case notes;
- Ability to schedule and maintain calendars;
- Ensure all billing is updated accurately and timely within our billing system;
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and witnesses;
- Assist attorneys in management of client files;
- Responsible for documentation and preparation of files for depositions, mediations and trial;
- Ability to take direction and work diligently without supervision.
- Ability to be an independent problem solver, be a team player, work well with others, have common sense, possess a strong work ethic, punctual, professional, responsive, and efficient.
