Our client is a high end boutique law firm specializing in land use, zoning, and real estate law. They value excellence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their team and provide high-level support to the managing partner and other associates as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and independent, with at least 5 years of legal assistant experience. This role involves managing a dynamic schedule, preparing and proofreading documents, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a busy calendar, coordinate meetings, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
- Oversee billing processes, time entry, and client account management.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
- Assist with preparing and submitting applications and presentations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in real estate, land use, or corporate law.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and billing/time entry software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Reliable transportation and proximity to Boca Raton, FL.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
- Bonuses: Based on performance.
