We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for a temporary position that may convert to a full-time desk based on your performance. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Filing and e-filing for state and federal courts
The ideal candidate will have a no-task-too-small attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills, making them a pleasure to work with.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of solid legal assistant experience.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of litigation procedures and the discovery process
- Attributes: Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Mindset: Superb communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, proactive approach
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: $22-24/hr
