Title: Legal Assistant
Location: St. Louis, MO (100% on-site)
Schedule: Monday - Friday; Standard hours of operation
Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 annual

Job Description:
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with daily administrative tasks
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
- File legal documents with courts and maintain accurate records
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic case files
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and track deadlines
- Answer phones, greet clients, and handle basic client communications
- Conduct basic legal and factual research as directed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior legal experience required, but internships or office experience are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic document management systems
- Willingness to learn legal software
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
