Title: Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant Location: Butler, PA

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join our client s dynamic and thriving team in Butler, PA. This direct-hire role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and confidently knows how to manage executive calendaring, litigation dockets, e-filing, and complex case files.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of recent US law firm experience while supporting multiple busy defense attorneys in product liability, family/domestic matters, labor and employment defense, complex commercial litigation, or a similar practice area.
Key Responsibilities: - Support attorneys in preparing cases by drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are current and accessible.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and other involved parties.
- Handle sensitive information and correspondence with the utmost confidentiality.
- Review attorney billable time, make travel arrangements, and submit expense reports.
Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience in a civil litigation support role, preferably product liability, labor & employment defense, or complex commercial litigation. Family law and bankruptcy/creditors rights experience will be considered as well.
- 1+ years of experience in e-filing with state and federal courts - PACER is required.
- Paralegal Certificate is not required, but it is nice to have (or an equivalent degree.)
- Proficient in legal research tools, case management and billing software, and transcription.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities; typing speed of 65+ WPM is required.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- This firm is 100% onsite M-F, and you must be able to work full-time during regular business hours.
Technology and Tools: - Experience with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with case management software.
Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive salary based on years and level of experience. ($42,000-$55,000)
