The desired candidate will provide critical support to NAT's legal and investor relations functions.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including the Chief Risk Officer/General Counsel.
  • Enhance record keeping for client and vendor contracts, including but not limited to:
    • Documenting within Excel and/or Smartsheet
    • Transfer into Cobblestone and Tandem systems
    • Draft and mail notices
    • Assist with maintenance of standard form contracts with clients, vendors and other third parties.
    • Maintain corporate legal files and original documents.
    • Assist the administrator for annual Proxy. Assist with annual Shareholder Proxy, including the drafting of annual proxy, prepare individual proxy ballots, mail report and ballots to shareholder, receive and tally voted proxies.
    • Conduct legal research and drafting as assigned.
    • Provide administrative support as necessary.
    • Provide support for special projects as assigned.
    • Compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations as it applies within the scope of this position, including but not limited to, prompt completion of required BSA/AML/OFAC training.
Qualifications:
  • One (1)+ years' of experience in corporate legal department or law firm required; three (3)+ years preferred.
  • Associate degree or certificate in paralegal studies suggested.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and formulate strategies and concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate conceptual strategies and practical tactics across employee base.
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and management.
  • Discretion, including maintaining proprietary and confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
