Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal to join a law firm in downtown Minneapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with an onsite work model.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and paralegal support to the mental health practice group
- Assist with guardianship and conservatorship litigation, emergency motions, and related legal matters
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents and correspondence
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals
- Organize and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and case files using NetDocs document management system
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years experience in a legal administrative or paralegal role
- Knowledge on guardianships and/or conservatorships is preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Passion for advocating for individuals experiencing mental health or other disabilities, demonstrated through work, volunteer, or personal experiences
