We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our team across our Denver and DTC offices. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone actively pursuing or recently certified as a paralegal, and offers a combination of administrative and legal support responsibilities. With lower billable requirements than traditional paralegal roles, this position is designed to support learning, professional growth, and long-term advancement within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff.
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Assist with case management including file organization, deadline tracking, and calendar management.
- Conduct basic legal research and compile supporting materials.
- Assist in preparing discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial exhibits.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and external parties.
- Manage incoming/outgoing communications including calls, emails, and mail.
- Maintain organized and confidential physical and electronic case files.
- Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling, invoicing, and supply coordination.
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work in-office full-time; position will rotate between Denver and DTC offices.
- Actively working toward or recently completed a paralegal certificate (required).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent legal/administrative experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
