A prestigious law and lobbying firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of attorneys. This firm is known for its strong government relations practice, high-profile clientele, and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion in a fast-paced setting.


Job Description:

This position will provide direct support to four attorneys, managing high-volume scheduling, travel coordination, client interactions, and administrative tasks. The role requires law firm or professional services experience and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings, calls, and events.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, handling logistics, RSVPs, and material preparation.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and briefings.
  • Serve as a liaison for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Prepare and edit legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist attorneys with time entry and billing using 3E-Elite or similar systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years as an Administrative Assistant in a law firm, lobbying firm, DOJ, Executive Branch, or Capitol Hill setting.
  • Strong background in calendaring, travel coordination, and client engagement.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Zoom, calendaring systems, and legal billing software (3E-Elite preferred).
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
