Shook, Hardy & Bacon is currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to draft and prepare correspondence; manage calendars and provide clerical, administrative and organizational support to attorneys, paralegals and analysts.

Additional duties include:

Conference Room Scheduling, Setups, and Clean-Up: Manage conference room setups and clean-up, including adding notifications to AskCody.

Support VTC Equipment: Provide support for video teleconferencing equipment.

Basic Tech Support: Offer basic technical support as needed.

Visitor Assistance: Set up and assist visitors.

Copying and Binder Creation: Make copies and create binders as needed.

Supply and Office Maintenance: Maintain and organize supplies area, kitchen area, and the office in general.

Mail Handling: Pick up the mail and process it as needed.

Event assistance: Assist with events, receiving equipment, etc.

Outgoing Mail Preparation: Prepare outgoing mail, including assembling and processing. May call a courier to deliver to the Post Office or take to the mail slot in the building as needed.

Onboarding and Offboarding Assistance: Assist with onboarding and offboarding personnel as needed, including collecting equipment, security cards, etc.

Shipping Preparation: Assist with preparing items for shipping, including technology components.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three years related experience. ALS, PLS or CPS certification or a paralegal certificate will be considered in lieu of experience. An Associate's Degree is preferred.Ability to type 50 WPM. Must have basic legal terminology and an awareness of court filing requirements. Must be able to use legal citations and apply to firm documents. Working knowledge of legal time entry, Microsoft Word (styles & tables), Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Skilled in the use of a redlining tool. Working knowledge of basic office functions.

Washington state filing experience is required.
