We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a team of transactional attorneys at a boutique law firm in West Los Angeles. In this role, you'll draft, format, and organize a variety of legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Key Responsibilities:- Draft, format, and edit legal documents, including letters, contracts, etc.
- Review and proofread legal documents for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Prepare and organize correspondence and documentation for attorneys and clients.
- Assist with the preparation of legal files and maintain organized records.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
- Assist attorneys with case management and deadlines.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scheduling meetings, and managing documents.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal assistant, executive assistant, or administrative assistant in an office work environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal document management systems.
- Experience with legal drafting and formatting, with a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Compensation: $65k - $80k depending on experience.
