Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a diligent and experienced Legal Litigation Assistant to join a prestigious law firm in Connecticut. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in legal administrative support, particularly within a corporate setting. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Business Organizations & Finance Department, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the Hartford office.

Responsibilities
- Assist and support the Department Co-Chair and other attorneys/paralegals with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Conduct intake on new matters by requesting conflict checks, preparing new matter reports, and drafting engagement letters.
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including stock purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and employment agreements.
- Perform daily time entry on WebView and save documents from emails to I-Manage.
- Edit documents extensively, including formatting and redlining, ensuring proper document profiling and version control.
- Scan, file, and proofread documents to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Track and manage new matter reports for Department Chair review and approval.
- Create slides for PowerPoint presentations and transcribe using Phillips Speech.
- Compose and type routine correspondence, prioritize incoming mail, and manage monthly billing proformas.
- Respond to emails and phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have 5-7 years of experience in a similar role and be available to work a 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
