A boutique law firm specializing is estate planning in San Clemente is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant who is very detail-oriented and familiar with probate and trust administration experience. Courts knowledge is a big plus as well. This position is fully on-site, with a starting pay-rate of $26 to $32 per hour, based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9AM - 4:30PM with some flexibility for 32-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities :
  • Probate and trust administration support, and general administrative duties.
  • Data entry for preparing estate planning documents.
  • Detailed proofreading of documents.
  • Assembling estate planning binders.
  • Assist with drafting and sending correspondence.
  • Witnessing during estate planning signing appointments.
  • Communication with clients and help with social media.
Skills:
  • Legal experience required.
  • Probate and trust administration support experience
  • Attention to detail and quality control for preparing documents with a high-quality presentation. Meticulous and careful.
  • Friendly, positive attitude and punctual.
  • Good knowledge of office technology, computers, scanners, and printers.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot problems before seeking help.
  • Extremely accurate, excellent computer skills, dependable, exemplary organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and set priorities.
  • Knowledge and experience with probate matters including preparing documents, organizing files, tracking deadlines, filing of court documents, and notice requirements for court matters.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365. Must have knowledge and experience with advanced functions of Microsoft Word and Excel, including proficient use of styles and formulas.
  • Familiarity with drafting and reviewing real estate deeds, excellent proofreader.
  • Experience with Wealthcounsel, Clio CRM, and social media platforms is needed.
  • Training can be provided.
  • Notary or willing to obtain notary certification is desired.
