Overview of the Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:
- Post payments and prepare batch runs
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in GL accounts
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare journal entries for month-end close, accruals, payroll, and fixed assets depreciation
- Assist with the creation of financial statements and reports
Preferred Qualifications for the Ledger Clerk:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum two years of accounting experience
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics AX preferred
- Excellent research skills, detail-oriented
- Highly effective communication and teamwork skills
Location: This role is 100% onsite in Elkhart, IN
Salary: $44,800 - $50,800 depending on experience
