Contact Phone:Contact Email:Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:The qualified candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching at least one of the following techniques from foundational through advanced levels: ballet, modern/contemporary or jazz. Additional assignments will consist of teaching additional courses supporting the BFA curriculum, which could include choreography, production, pedagogy, dance history, Pilates, theory, or additional dance forms. The ideal candidate will also be qualified to contribute to the MFA in Dance program by teaching graduate courses and serving on thesis committees.
Educational Requirements for the Position:MFA or PhD in Dance.
Experience Required for the Position:At least two years' experience teaching in a college level dance program is required. Professional experience in performance and/or choreography is desired.
