Job Title: Temporary Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator
Location: Downtown Los Angeles Hybrid - 4 Days Remote / 1 Day On-Site
Pay Rate: $50-$65/hour (DOE)
Duration: 90 Days
Start Date: ASAP
Our client, a notable fashion company, is looking for a highly organized and experienced Temporary Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator to support their team in processing LOAs.
Job Description:
This role requires someone with an understanding of LOA processes and regulations, who is confident reviewing medical documentation and managing leave workflows from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret medical documentation to determine eligibility and appropriate leave type.
- Administer and process employee leave requests, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and company-specific leaves.
- Track, document, and manage leave cases in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Communicate with employees regarding leave status, documentation requirements, and next steps.
- Coordinate with HR, payroll, and legal teams to ensure compliance and accurate processing.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive and medical information.
- Support process improvements and assist with related administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in LOA administration or related HR functions
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state leave laws (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, etc.)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting medical letters and documentation
- High attention to detail and accuracy in case management and recordkeeping
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with HRIS systems
