We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leasing Assistant & Assistant Community Manager for our property in Portland, OR. This role requires a professional with prior property management experience, preferably with exposure to Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) or Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the leasing process, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Support the Community Manager in daily operations and management of the property.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC or HUD regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management activities.
Qualifications:
- Prior property management experience is required.
- Exposure to LIHTC or HUD programs is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations and tenants with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
