Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve leases, contracts, and other legal documents within the land system to ensure that critical obligations, provisions, payment details, and acreage are accurately recorded.
• Ensure the timely and precise payment of bonus, extension, rental, shut-in, and minimum royalties.
• Track monthly obligations and monitor lease expirations.
• Maintain and organize lease files.
• Develop and uphold departmental procedures and processes.
• Collaborate with Land, Division Orders, and Accounting departments to facilitate smooth workflow and assist with special projects.
• Support with reporting obligations and audits.
• Assist in the implementation, upgrades, and enhancements of the land system.
• Generate, review, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Land reports.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of industry experience
• Proficiency in land database systems required, with BOLO experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the duties of a Lease Analyst and the functions of the Lease Records Department, along with the experience to perform these tasks effectively.
