Vision for Education is currently seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join one of our partner schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and helping every child reach their full potential.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning activities
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional support
- Adapt classroom materials to meet individual student needs
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or care setting
- A strong understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential
