SEN Teaching Assistant Specification
We are currently seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time job in an SEN school in the Kidderminster area. This is working with a range of ages, throughout the school.
To be considered you must have a passion for supporting SEND learners and have an expert knowledge of the school curriculum, along with and having a caring and nurturing approach to your work.
- You must be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2 or 3 minimum)
- Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system
- Have worked with ASD, MLD, SPLd, PMLD, Physical needs
- Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
- Ideally have worked at least 12 months within Special Needs
- Safeguarding level 1 trained
- Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners
The school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant
The role is within an SEN school who are seeking a strong member of staff to support their learners academically and throughout their day. As such they need a strong member of staff who can build rapport and work with the students. They are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge and experience in supporting students with these specific needs.
Ideally you will have worked with students who display a complex range of needs, or specific learning or developmental needs.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, and passionate about working with children. As a specialist SEND setting, it's essential that you are both professional and diligent, as you will be working independently with pupils who have a wide range of abilities and requirements.
