Learning Experience Designer (Contract)
You are a Learning Experience Designer, you will collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create engaging and effective learning content across various modalities. This includes instructor-led sessions, e-learning courses, and multimedia content such as podcasts, quizzes, and case studies. Your work will support a cohesive, learner-centric experience aimed at driving knowledge retention and application.
Location: Remote US
This position pays:$68.00 to $72.00 per hour
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and manage plans, timelines, and content creation/review processes.
- Create instructional outlines, including learning objectives, and select the appropriate modality for each piece of content.
- Build e-learning courses, slides, and multimedia assets, ensuring they are visually engaging and effective.
- Identify content reviewers and reconcile materials with existing training products.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to define the content's measurement strategy.
- Enable facilitators by developing comprehensive facilitation guides.
- Ensure content structure, sequence, and modality create an engaging learner experience.
What You Bring: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training.
- 7-10 years of related experience (10+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in training design tools and multimedia applications such as Keynote, Rise, Vyond, Captivate, Camtasia, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Strong skills in instructional design, including a solid understanding of learning theory.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills to meet deadlines and ensure quality control.
- Ability to work independently and proactively communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Deep empathic listening skills to interpret and translate stakeholder insights into training materials.
