Organization Overview:
Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Lebanon, IN (Lilly Lebanon API). This facility is Lilly's largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products, including new modalities. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the startup team for a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to build the processes and facility to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations.
Main Purpose and Objectives:
The Learning & Development Specialist is a vital part of the Lilly Lebanon API Learning & Development (L&D) team, providing support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical training initiatives for the Lilly Lebanon API manufacturing site throughout the start-up, implementation, and day to day operations.
In the project delivery and startup phase of the project (startup expected 2025 to 2027), the L&D Specialist role will be fluid and dynamic as we endeavor to support the project delivery, build a new organization, develop and implement the necessary systems and business processes required to support GMP operations and build the site culture. This will require significant collaboration, creativity, and resilience as the site grows to a full scale GMP manufacturing through start up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site L&D Business Partners in their operational activities, including the creation and management of training curricula and content, training matrices, and job descriptions.
- Support site L&D Business Partners in the creation and management of reports and dashboards based on data from various L&D data sources, including the learning management system, training evaluations, surveys, etc.
- Process site L&D content in various information systems, including the learning management system, document management system, the service management system, file storage and backup systems, etc.
- Administer site L&D communication and collaboration systems, including the team shared email account and SharePoint and Teams sites, ensuring a positive user and learner experience at the site.
- Promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that empower the site L&D team to be successful.
Minimum Requirements:
- A High School Diploma.
- One year of experience working in an FDA/GxP-regulated organization.
- One year of experience working on a learning and development team.
- One year of experience working with a learning management system.
- One year of experience working with a document management system.
- Ability to perform system-based transactions accurately and efficiently.
Additional Preferences:
- College degree in, or closely related to, the Learning & Development field.
- Prior experience with the "SAP Success Factors" learning management system.
- Prior experience with the "Veeva Vault QualityDocs" document management system.
- Prior experience with the "Service Now" service management system.
- Prior experience with the "Microsoft 365" suite of office productivity applications.
