Responsibilities/Job Description:

Fairview has an opportunity for a Lead Triage Nurse Advisor. In addition to their standard duties as a Triage Nurse Advisor, the team lead is responsible for providing daily work direction to staff to achieve department and organizational objectives. In addition the team lead promotes, supports and participates in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation as well as actively supporting an environment of collaborative teamwork and accountability to Fairview behaviors and values.

About Training: Training for this position requires flexibility to work full time (1.0 FTE) on-site for 4-6 weeks. Our training shifts are variable including days, mid-shift, evenings, and weekends.

Following training, we work remotely. The work from home location is required to be within driving distance from Midway Corporate Campus in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

This work from home opportunity is scheduled for Day/Evening Shift, 64 hours/2 weeks. We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage along with PTO and 403B.

The Team Lead position is responsible for:

Supporting the roles and responsibilities of its respective team.
Providing daily direction, instruction and guidance to agents.
Assisting in daily and monthly performance reporting.
Assisting in the coordination of new agent training/onboarding as well as ongoing learning/coaching.
Serving as the team subject matter expect for problem-solving.
Assisting in the development of efficient work standards.
Receiving requests for information.
Ensuring that knowledge resources are updated in a timely manner.
All other agent team functions and expectations.
Sets example of demonstrating the Fairview values of Dignity, Integrity, Service and Compassion; recognizes those who demonstrate the values in their behaviors. Provides direct leadership to team members. Inspire and foster team commitment, pride and trust. Facilitate cooperation and motivate to meet team goals.
Assist with performance reporting as determined by supervisor
Assist in the development of work standards
Provides direct customer service to patients, physicians and/or co-workers. Responsible for all agent functions and departmental expectations.

Required:

Associate Degree in Nursing
Three or more years of related experience
Current Minnesota RN License
Wisconsin RN License (application submitted within 30 days of hire and obtained within 120 days of hire)
BLS Certification

Preferred:

Bachelors in Nursing
Triage (phone or in person) RN experience
Teaching, mentor or preceptor experience
Electronic medical records experience and strong comfort level using computers
Experience using multiple phone line system
Prior Team Lead/Leadership Experience
Prior Training Experience
Prior Contact Center Triage Experience
