Lead Technical Consultant

Job Location: 555 Maryville University Drive, Ste. 500, St. Louis, MO 63141 (see below note regarding relocation, telecommuting, and travel) Job Duties: Develop customized software, APIs, microservices architecture, and integration services using various programming languages. Deploy, monitor, analyze, and visualize system metrics and dashboards. Prepare and create detailed proofs-of-concept from which complex programs will be written or configured. Lead and contribute to sprint planning, grooming, daily scrums, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations. Coordinate with offshore developers as the technical lead and SME for functional requirements. This position has no direct reports and does not supervise any employees. Minimum Requirements: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or any other related Engineering or IT field of study Six (6) months of experience in any of the following occupations: Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Technical Consultant, or any other related IT occupation(s). Must have experience with: -One or more of the following integration programming languages: Java, JavaScript, C , or Python -One or more of the following: Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, Apache MQ, Kafka, JPA, Hibernate, Docker, Json, or XML. -One or more of the following DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven Git, Jira, Terraform, or Ansible Additional Information: Position is project-based on short- and long-term assignments at various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each project. Depending on project requirements, telecommuting within the U.S. may be permitted. Domestic travel to client sites may be required up to 10% of the time.
