As a Lead Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing both current and new business and technical processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying system interfaces and dependencies, documenting process and system flows, and reverse-engineering existing applications to inform the development of new ones. You will translate business functions into clear technical specifications, ensuring that our Asset Management platform evolves with the latest technological advancements.

You will work closely with a variety of teams, leveraging your deep understanding of applications and business processes to assess systems, identify dependencies, and efficiently sequence work. Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Skills
  • 4+ years of experience as an analyst of business-critical applications, with knowledge of the financial industry and equity markets.
  • Analytical mindset capable of assessing work impact at a granular level, down to individual user stories.
  • Proficient in navigating modern technologies, including service-based application tiers, SQL, and API design and validation.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with both relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and non-SQL databases.
  • Moderate to advanced expertise in analyzing end-to-end processes, utilizing tools for data presentation and analysis, including REST API technologies.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, capable of measuring and leveraging data effectively while balancing intuition.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the technical acumen to drive outcomes and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Expertise in defining test cases with detail, ensuring alignment with real business value and testing essential elements.
  • A passion for guiding best practices and providing mentorship to fellow Systems Analysts as our team expands.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, including familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with flexibility and adaptability.
