Lead System Integrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lead System Integrator to support the National Geospatial Agencies ongoing data services program for geospatial intelligence in Springfield, VA. We are seeking a skilled system integrator and cloud computing professional to lead integration tasks and provide consultation support to a variety of Government Product Owners. Responsibilities of the System Integrator: Guide Product Managers and Lead Developers to ensure the seamless integration and interoperability of end-to-end development capabilities.
Oversee projects to guarantee the timely production of high-quality products that meet requirements.
Collaborate with clients to understand and establish software requirements.
Provide hands-on support for system integration tasks.
Analyze and propose budgetary activities for both short-term and long-term planning.
Test and evaluate software functionality and design concepts.
Participate in working groups to streamline costs, assess risks and gaps, and provide strategic support.
Monitor project performance to identify and implement necessary adjustments, such as portfolio rebalancing.
Interface with government engineering and senior management teams.
Coordinate with 3rd-party vendors/service providers on all touchpoints, including application upgrades and production support issues.
Qualifications of the System Integrator: Master's degree plus 4 years experience, Bachelor's degree plus 6 years experience, Associates degree plus 12 years experience, or a minimum of 15 years experience in a relevant field.
At least 10 years' experience with: API development, AWS services (S3, DIODE, SNS/SQS, SDK development, CloudFormation), Apache NiFi, ElasticSearch, PKI, Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Containerization (e.g., Docker), Basic shell programming and system administration
At least 7 years' experience with integrator skills, including: Automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Pact, JMeter, Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK) framework, Understanding of ICD503 A&A controls, AWS Lambda, Ansible/Salt, PCF, Kong
