Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

  • 2-year $92M Ground up Middle School in Whitman MA, alongside a $105M Ground up Police/Fire Station in Easton MA (will go to both sites).
  • Overseeing all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Leading and managing on-site construction teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Coordinating subcontractor and supplier activities to maintain project schedules and workflow.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for field operations, working closely with the project management team.
  • Conducting regular site inspections, addressing any issues that arise, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Managing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
  • Participating in project meetings, providing insights on schedule, logistics, and construction challenges.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Profile

The right Superintendent has the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in large-scale projects ($50M+ preferred).
  • Proven experience managing public/academic/K-12 construction projects (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore, P6, and BIM/VDC.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
