Join our Digital Modernization Sector as a
Lead Solution Architect for Innovations. This role supports the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Your mission will involve the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN), while driving innovation and transformation with DISA's mission partners.
As a Lead Solution Architect, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment as part of an integrated innovations team focused on delivering a complex, cutting-edge AWS cloud-based solution. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the strategic vision and architecture of solutions that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include: - Owning the architecture of a large cloud-based operations support system platform, implementing innovative solutions for the GSM-O program.
- Leading technical planning and architectural design, utilizing modern technologies such as Cloud (AWS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), and AIOps.
- Developing complex solution architectures and technical documentation that align with program goals and industry trends.
- Managing requirements and facilitating problem-solving to drive continuous improvement and address technical challenges swiftly.
- Collaborating closely with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to provide innovative solutions that meet government requirements.
- Engaging in new business development efforts, authoring responses, conducting trade studies, and estimating project scope and feasibility.
This position primarily allows remote work but requires occasional travel to GSM-O sites, necessitating candidates to be within commuting distance to either Scott AFB, IL or Ft. Meade, MD. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications: - Active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years in a relevant field, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
- Proven experience leading strategy development and data-driven capability delivery within a DoD environment.
- Strong technical expertise in government network design, implementation, operations, and modernization.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, data pipelines, and experience with Agile methodologies and related tools.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AI/ML technologies and cloud-based AWS services.
- Familiarity with DISA and DoD Networks, cybersecurity processes, and network protocols.
- Certifications in system architecture or cloud/network solutions (e.g., AWS, Cisco).

Pay Range: $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
