Lead Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance for a growing insurance organization located in Tampa, Florida. The Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance is a hybrid position. A successful candidate for the Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance will possess a versatile technology background within the commercial Property and Casualty insurance domain.

Responsibilities for the Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance include:

• Serve as a solutions engineer for all technical solutions

• Own solutions related to integrations, customizations, automation, event streaming, and Intelligent Data Processing

• Work closely with multiple stakeholders within the business, IT, and Engineering

Requirements for the Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance include:

• Over 5 years of professional development and solutions engineering experience

• Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance background

• Strong background working with 3 rd party software and creating solutions related to integrations, customizations, automation, event streaming, and Intelligent Data Processing

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience

Compensation of the Lead Software Engineer - P&C Insurance:

• $160,000 - $190,000 annually

• FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by Law, and Holidays
