Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Engineer specializing in Kubernetes Orchestration to lead our cloud-native infrastructure team. If you possess deep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, multi-cloud resource orchestration, and distributed systems, this role is designed for you. You will be responsible for architecting, scaling, and maintaining our multi-cloud environments to ensure high availability and resilience.
The Prisma Access SASE service provides secure access directly from the cloud, uniting essential connectivity and security across various platforms. We employ innovative cloud technologies to extend superior security protection to all cloud services and customer networks, both on-premises and remote.
As an experienced Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deliver advanced technologies within our Prisma Access team. We seek engineers with a passion for coding and product development, eager to introduce fresh ideas at every stage of software creation. We require innovators who take ownership of their responsibilities and who are driven to tackle challenges collaboratively and effectively.
Your Impact - Design, develop, and implement scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access.
- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure top-tier software quality.
- Propose and implement enhancements to the development process.
- Work alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams to resolve customer-related issues.
- Mentor and coach new team members.
Qualifications Your Experience - 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure roles.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and related technologies (e.g., Lambda functions, SNS/SQS).
- Expertise in Kubernetes internals, including operators, controllers, RBAC, service discovery, and workload scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of databases, including SQL, NoSQL, Time series, and GraphDB.
- Extensive programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, such as ingress controllers and service meshes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive attitude.
- High energy with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A quick learner, eager to explore new technologies.
Education - M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Compensation Disclosure The salary for this position will be based on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates at the posted level, the expected starting base salary ranges from $191,000 to $215,000 per year. Offered compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus, with additional details about employee benefits provided separately.
