As a Lead Software Engineer for our Bank Modernization initiative, you will play a vital role in modernizing our core platforms, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to influence the future of workflow automation.
In this position, you will be instrumental in designing and developing key components of our new core platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation that enhances business efficiencies and elevates customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement comprehensive technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Stay current with technology trends by experimenting with and learning new technologies; engage with both internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud solutions that provide impactful experiences to help millions of Americans gain financial empowerment.
- Utilize a variety of programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.
Qualifications: Basic Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships do not count).
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service provider.
- 3+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
Location: McLean, VA. The salary range for this position is $158,600 - $181,000 annually. Your actual salary will be based on your experience and qualifications.
