Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support cutting-edge technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Stay current with tech trends. Share your enthusiasm for exploring new technologies, engage with tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver innovative cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys.
- Utilize various programming languages and technologies, including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes, and a range of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: - Hold a Bachelor's Degree.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not count).
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Go, SQL, Python, or Java.
- 1+ years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
- 3+ years of experience in leveraging open source frameworks.
- 2+ years of practical experience in Agile methodologies.
This position is based in Richmond, VA with a salary range of $144,200 - $164,600 for Senior Software Engineers, or McLean, VA with a salary range of $158,600 - $181,000. Salary offers will be communicated upon hiring.
